100 Partners

the distribution engineer

the most valuable role in an AI first company, and why it points straight at partnerships

the distribution engineer

the past few months have been wild.

expect consistent emails every monday morning moving forward.

100.partners also has a fresh look, and boy am i bullish on partnerships as we move into this AI first world.

you've felt the changes over the last month.

ad costs are climbing. content is entering a strange era of infinite scale with AI. outbound is absurdly noisy. not to mention the "AI info" overwhelm.

so where is the signal?

the distribution engineer

i was talking with a friend about an idea i keep coming back to. the distribution engineer might be the most valuable role inside an AI first company.

someone who finds creative ways to "access" audiences systemically. who builds agentic workflows that create leverage. who frees up time to build the real relationships and partnerships that compound across every campaign.

AI does what it's great at. HI (humans) do what we're great at.

AI commoditizes creation, not relations

anyone can create literally anything at scale, and fast.

amazing on every level. but you still need customers.

AI can't buy, and it can't get people to buy, your "thing".

this is where trust, relationships, and real human connection win. that is what partnerships are all about. (more on this in the new moat and access > build.)

keep stacking 🧱
